Newark Liberty International Airport (formerly Newark International Airport) {{Airport codes|EWR|KEWR}} is an international airport within the city limits of both Newark and Elizabeth, New Jersey, United States. It is west of four New York City boroughs, and is north of Staten Island.

Newark Liberty International Airport has three passenger terminals. Terminal A and Terminal B were completed in 1973 and have a three-story layout, with departures on the top floor, arrivals on the middle floor, and flight operations on the ground floor. Terminal C, completed in 1988, has two departures levels with a food and shopping mezzanine between the departures and arrivals halls. It's worth noting that extensive renovations were completed in Terminal C from 1998-2003. The baggage claim area was renovated, and turned into a second departure level, splitting departures into International Floor/Domestic Floor, a third Concourse was added, an International Arrivals facility was added, and a 3,400 space parking garage, and new baggage processing facilities were added, including turning the former underground parking area into a new baggage claim (Which was a great use of space, as parking had been prohibited underneath the terminal as a security measure after the first attack on the World Trade Center in 1993.)

Each terminal is subdivided into three numbered concourses: Terminal A, for instance, is divided into concourses A1, A2, and A3. Gate numbering is continuous through all the terminals.

• Newark Liberty International Airport EWR is located in Essex and Union Counties, New Jersey, and between the New Jersey Turnpike (accessible from Exits 13A and 14), U.S. Routes 1 & 9 and I-78. EWR is about 16 miles from midtown Manhattan. It is viewed by many as the most traveler-friendly airport in the New York metropolitan area. The airport is served by all of the major U.S. and numerous international airlines, offering nonstop and connecting flights around the country and the world. Continental Airlines, which uses EWR airport as a domestic and international hub, transformed Terminal C into a spacious facility with numerous shops and restaurants to pass the time between flights and a new international arrivals facility which allows Continental passengers arriving from overseas to connect with domestic flights without switching terminals. AirTrain service operates 24 hours a day between the terminals, parking lots and rental car complex. All three terminals offer Restaurants/Bars and Shops/Duty-free shops. Terminal A shows a bus at Concourse A2, and currency exchanges on concourse level and in Concourse A1. Terminal B shows a currency exchange at Concourse B3. Terminal C shows a bus at Concourse C1 and currency exchanges at Concourses C-3 and C-1 and at the concourse and lower levels.
